Coremine Vitae AS empowers patients with personalized information about their disease and treatment options. We are a multidisciplinary team supporting patients to live longer and better lives by helping healthcare providers identify the most precise, effective, and evidence-based treatment options. We use the patients’ genetic profile to compile evidence-based information, creating biomedical intelligence reports unique to the patient.
We are now looking for a new colleague to join our scientific team, where we offer a unique possibility to impact cancer patients’ lives and contribute to make precision medicine more available.
By joining the Coremine Vitae Scientific Team, you will work on evaluating evidence and producing personalized reports for patients with various cancer types. You will also work in a multi-disciplinary environment and collaborate with our partners to help improve their digital health solution, which we use in our report writing. This solution is a CE-marked Medical Device Software in compliance with the health, safety, cybersecurity, and performance requirements by the European legislation.
What you will do
- Play a key role in identifying and evaluating evidence resulting in actionable insights to include in personalized reports for patients
- Directly provide personalized medicine reports to patients, relatives, and their healthcare team.
- Participate in improving our methodology and standard operating procedures
- Participate in product development
- Contribute to create datasets for machine-learning and evaluate results of AI-assisted tools
Your skills and experience
We believe that you will thrive working with Coremine Vitae if you are eager to learn new things and convey it forward, approach problems systematically and are passionate about helping patients in need. Experience with scientific research and evaluation of results from clinical studies is important. Clear written language and the ability to present evidence and facts in an unbiased and objective manner are highly appreciated skills.
For the precision medicine scientist/analyst position, we are looking for:
- Master/PhD degree within medical, biological, pharmaceutical science or equivalent
- Experience in oncology with in-depth knowledge in at least one cancer type, including disease etiology, key actionable mutations, and treatment options
- Strong knowledge of biomedical and clinical cancer terminology
- Strong research skills in literature databases and clinical trials repositories
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English language, written and spoken
We also value the following skills:
- Experience with evidence-based medicine
- Knowledge of systematic reviews (Cochrane) and health technology assessments (GRADE methodology)
- Fluency in Norwegian language, written and spoken
- Experience with working within healthcare regulatory constraints
- Knowledge of new clinical study methodologies such as master protocol trials, register-based randomized trials, and pragmatic trials
- Competence in shared decision-making in medicine and quality criteria for patient decision aids
